Stoglin '100 percent' to Maryland - IMS

Need a subscription to read the whole article but the title and the jump give us all we need to know.

"Maryland point guard commitment Terrell Stoglin denied rumors Monday night he is interested in Arizona and might not sign with Maryland in November, saying it "is not true, it’s not a fact at all. "I’m 100 percent [to Maryland]. I wouldn’t have committed if I wasn’t."

All is right again.

Leslie Update: UNC No Longer Recruiting Him

Biggest competition is probably Kentucky right now.

"I am wide open," Leslie said. "I haven't narrowed my list down at all. I just want to check out [Kentucky's] Midnight Madness."

...

This fall, Leslie had in-home visits with the coaches from Kentucky, Florida, Maryland, Oregon, Georgia Tech, Georgetown, N.C. State and Florida International, which is now coached by Isiah Thomas, one of Leslie's favorites when he was growing up. But, he said, the University of North Carolina is no longer recruiting him.

My Take:  The quotes from Leslie are pretty encouraging.  By saying "I just want to check out Kentucky's Midnight Madness," it sounds like he is addressing, and denying, the rumors of him committing to Kentucky right after their MM.

Campbell May Play

Hooray!! Seriously, the difference in the offense when he isn't in the game is like night and day.

Setting a pace - D1SCOURSE

Did you know that Torrey Smith is on pace to set the NCAA record for kickoff return yardage in a season? This is definitely worth the short read.

Meet Alyssa Thomas - Recruiting Report

Matt Bracken has a breakdown of Brenda's top recruit in her #1 ranked 2010 class. This team is going to be stacked with talent for quite a long time.

USA U16 Camp Notes - ESPN

It's Insider, so no full quotes or anything, but: Quinn Cook was a "standout player", and they called him "as steady as it gets". He's the starting point guard, for what it's worth. Also, Justin Anderson was called a smaller Josh Smith. Lastly, Sterling Gibbs was steady, but not amazing. - bbroman

Beginning of the End for Locksley at UNM

He's suspended for one game without pay. It won't be long before he's out of a job there. Unfortunately, he'll probably never come back here, so you just have to hope he stays out West. - bbroman
