The Terps defense didn't particularly need this right now, but outside linebacker Adrian Moten had surgery this past week on his wrist, and he's expected to be out for 4-5 weeks. Moten hasn't had the same impact that he had last year, especially in the pass rush, but you have to be disappointed he's not in there. The team shouldn't struggle against Virginia, but the game against Wake Forest is a game this team needs Adrian Moten for. Replacing him will likely be a combination of seniors Chase Bullock and Rick Costa. Don't expect the dropoff to be huge, but this can't help the team in the slightest.
