Pe'Shon Howard Impressions, Part II

Pe'Shon Howard and Oak Hill Academy took to national TV for the second time on Friday night, going up against #7 ranked St. Patrick's and Duke-bound Kyrie Irving. OHA ended up winning by a point on...

Pe'Shon Howard Impressions Open Thread

Master Pe' was on TV yesterday, as Oak Hill Academy took on Northland at the Hoophall Classic. Northland would unfortunately win at the buzzer, but it was a pretty good game, both for Pe'Shon - who...

Friendly Reminder: Catch Pe'Shon Howard on ESPN tomorrow at 4 as Oak Hill takes on #1 Northland (OH). If you haven't seen Pe' yet (or 'Shon?), there's no better time than then.

Alan Stein Predicts Pe'Shon Howard as ACC Rookie of the Year in 2010-11

Lightly translated, for those that don't speak Twitterese: "[To Nolan Smith] Thanks Nolan! Yeah, Pe'Shon is puttin' in work. He will be the ACC Freshman of the Year next year. Bet on it." Well then. Oh, and if you've never seen Stein in action, I wouldn't bet against him. Not only is he one of the best in the business, he is also an expert at making angry speeches.

Please Allow Pe'Shon Howard to Drop Your Jaw as He Recruits Quinn Cook

I know, I know. Four Pe'Shon Howard posts in quick succession? I don't care, I have nothing else to write about and this is generating untold amounts of news. First off: watch the ridiculous pass....

The Oak Hill (Va.) Academy combo guard had scheduled an unofficial visit to College Park. Before making the trip, Howard told his father, Bill, that he would commit to the Terps on the visit if given the opportunity. ... "When Coach Williams said [he was offering a scholarship], I looked at my dad and just started smiling. Then I told [Williams] I wanted to be a Terp." ... "He’s a big, physical, strong guard," Smith said. "He’s a combo guard who can play either position. He scores if you need him to and he passes if you need him to. ... He always guards the best player on the other team. I don’t care if it’s a 6-5 guy -- I’ll put Pe’Shon on him. He’s our best defender and he has become a very good 3-point shooter. He’s strong, he drives to the basket and he has a good pull-up [jumper]. He’s going to be a really good player in college."

Via Matt Bracken. Let me get this straight. He really wants to go to Maryland. He's a complete, strong combo that can do everything well. He's a great perimeter defender, when no one on Maryland right now is except Mosley. Yeah, I'm happy.

Maryland Gets Commitment Number Four, Finds Ross Replacement?

Maryland picked up their fourth commitment from a talented combo guard. Might this be their replacement for Terrence Ross?

Pe'Shon Howard Impressions

I caught Pe'Shon Howard, Roscoe Smith, and Oak Hill Academy take on Westchester today on CSN at 2. I already knew the outcame of the game (it was on tape delay) but it was one of the first times...
