Guess that explains all of the assistants bolting. Maybe they got a heads up from someone? Regardless, I thought Tech had underachieved a lot under Greenberg, but maybe their lack of NCAA Tourney appearances has more to do with the fact that it's hard to achieve success in basketball at a football school. It will be interesting to see who they hire to replace him and how others view the Va. Tech job - it's ACC, but you're definitely at a football school. Should be interesting.

Hmm...I wonder the last time Maryland won two player of the week awards like this? Jordan pulls in his 1st (of what we hope is many) ACC player of the week awards. "For the week, the sophomore center averaged 21.0 points, 13.7 rebounds and shot .522 from the floor, extending his double-double streak to five- straight games dating back to last season."
