Ugh. I hope this doesn't come back to bite us.
Going up against Indiana charter school Gary Bowman is no easy matter. It packs the floor with high profile recruits from the conferences that have a lot of "Big" in their names. So falling to Bowman in the Indiana Class 2A state finals is nothing to be ashamed of for Linton Stockton. Mid-major prospect Austin Karazsia -- also the school's quarterback, but choosing basketball in college -- led Linton with 29 points and 10 rebounds.
"What people like about me is that I am versatile," Kessler recently told 247Sports. "I can shoot from the perimeter and I am a decent ball-handler and I can play with my back to the basket. I am not as quick as I need to be and I know that will get better and I will also increase my weight."

Thad Matta scored his first commit for next season as the Ohio State men's basketball team secured the commitment of 6'3" combo guard Amedeo Della Valle. Della Valle (who's name is pronounced A-muh-day-o Day-la Vawl) chose the Buckeyes over Arizona and Texas A&M, who'd both been recruiting the Italian product far longer than the Bucks. The 3-star guard was also a one time target of Michigan and coach John Beilein. Della Valle, who reminds some of a poor man's Jon Diebler, will head to Ohio State by way of Las Vegas area Henderson, Nevada prep school Findlay Prep. NBA players Avery Bradley (Boston Celtics), Tristan Thompson (Cleveland Cavs), DeAndre Liggins (Orlando Magic), and Cory Joseph (San Antonio Spurs) are all former Findlay Alumni.
Texas was recruiting House, who has seen his stock explode over the summer and was thought to favor the Longhorns. This comes on the heels of losing top recruit Marcus Smart earlier in the week to Okie State. Just a brutal, brutal time for basketball recruiting for the Horns. Barnes is really struggling lately with in-state recruits as he seems to be focusing more and more on OOS prospects. Needless to say, I'm not overly optimistic about the Harrisons, Matt Jones, Julius Randle, or Keith Frazier for the class of 2013, as they are all national recruits who are being recruited by the very top programs in the country. We will see, though.
De-commits from Miami and gives us these next two items: "That would be good if I had the chance to go to Georgia Tech," Bolden said. - Awesome! What about UGA? Bolden said he’s not really interested. - Um, THWG! Get him commited Gregory!
