Back in March, Maryland fans got their first preview of what their new conference's B1G logo would look like on a football uniform. Yesterday, we got a sneak peak of what it will look like on a basketball jersey.

Looks pretty good, doesn't it?
One of the other awesome photos tweeted out by Maryland Athletics yesterday was a picture of this year's freshman class, which Pete has dubbed The QuintTERPlets.

So what version of Maryland's basketball uniforms are the Terps wearing in these photos? They appear to resemble the Black Ops, but they're also close to the regular black uniform from last season. You can see in this post that the black ops had gold trim around the numbers whereas this version has red. The side portion of the uniform also has the checkered pattern under the arm, but it's very subtle. You can see it best in the freshman photo on Dion Wiley.
B1G Football Unis
As I noted earlier, we've already seen what the B1G logo will look like on Maryland's football jerseys, but many, myself included, have wondered if Maryland would debut a new uniform for their inaugural Big Ten season. It appears we got our answer yesterday, thanks to this Big ten Network piece on the conference's uniforms for 2014 (emphasis mine):
The Terps have no shortage of combinations, however a team spokesman said that he doesn't expect many new designs in Maryland's first Big Ten season. The team, along with Under Armour, does plan to unveil one new uniform for a game to be announced.
If I was a betting man, I'd say that game would be their B1G home opener against Ohio State. I wonder what it will be...
What do you think of the new uniforms? What about the prospect of a new football uniform?
