Sounds like a pretty fun group and I just thought this was pretty cool, so I decided to share. Plus, my feeling is that they have the student dunk contest lead into a player dunk contest, which would make sense for having all these guys as judges...but I could be wrong.

Judging by the comments, that source is either his pops or his coach. And after reading that, I can't imagine he really goes elsewhere.

As expected, Louisville had no chance - no scholarship space and registration was already done. UK fills in for their spot. Kentucky has the scholarship space but their registration is done as well. Can they fit him in to get him eligible? I would think not, but it's Cal, so maybe. And with Memphis, he'd basically have to be registered ... now. Or tomorrow, maybe.
So we'll see. Thing is, this might play a bigger role than you'd think, because he'll be trying to win an appeal with the NCAA to be eligible immediately. They might not look kindly on a school trying to backdoor him in after the registration deadlines pass, and given that this is basically a judgment call for them, he may not want to do anything to hurt his case. If that happens, MD has the trump card.
Alternatively, hey, maybe the NCAA will realize his situation and be lenient. Who knows?
Anyway, sounds like Saturday or Sunday for Wells here.
