No action but Megan Frazer wins a major award: http://www.umterps.com/sports/w-fieldh/spec-rel/120811aac.html
And Pe'Shon Howard's cast is off and he's practicing with the team, via the program's official Facebook with a h/t to our Twitter friend, @FakeKvinAndrson. I know we were already hearing good things about Pe's return date, but I'd be surprised if he wasn't a go by the 23rd. Rest him for FIU, give him a week of practice, and give him a few games to get back up to speed.
Billy Kennedy returned to the bench last night after being recently diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/colleges/turner-scores-20-points-and-no-20-texas-aandm-beats-southern-83-58-in-kennedys-return-to-bench/2011/11/13/gIQAVOTBJN_story.html
This photo is terrific - obviously, from the Carrier Classic last night. Major props to a real out of the box thinking AD @ MSU. Raised 2 MIL just to pull this game off.
The call for Saturday. I like that red is finally working its way back in as the primary color - about time - but can we please wear the shellmet sometime this season? I am sick and tired of the matte black already. Isn't the whole point of all these options to actually have some variety?
The new Maryland football truck. Pretty badass. I'm pretty sure they rented a truck in the past, so this is a pretty big upgrade. Don't know where the money for this baby came from (Kevin Plank/UA? ), but its the best MD football news we've gotten in a while ... Thank to Randy Edsall's twitter account for the pic.
The duds for the Georgia Tech game. Out of the 16 modeled back in August, these were my 3rd-least favorite. Not a good look, IMO. Also, it seems like they're just trying to get as much black in the uniform as possible. Which would mean next we'd see black helmet, black jersey, white pants, and then black helmet, white jersey, black pants, etc. I fear we may not see the shelmet unleashed all year.
Tate George - no ethics either....Ponzi scheme http://www.cbssports.com/#!/nba/story/15629185/exnba-player-george-charged-in-ponzi-scheme
