Smotrycz from a Michigan fan's perspective (FWIW)
My brother is a Michigan alum and Wolverine fanatic. Last season he saw about 15 games and had a chance to form an opinion of Evan Smotrycz. My brother said that Smotrycz played very well against weak teams, but faltered in Big Ten games. He was a streak shooter that other defenses had to account for. With Michigan's incoming class he saw the writing on the wall, i.e. he was not going to have substantial minutes. My brother said that Smotrycz can be pushed around and that he'll need a big 5-man to take up space (Shaq ??). In any event he begrudgingly conceded that Smotrycz could end up being a valuable role player for the Terps.
Davin Meggett's chances in tonight's draft
Anyone want to hazard a guess where Davin Meggett will be selected? Matt Miller of Bleacher Report has him down as a mid-seventh round pick.

I noticed on another website that Ricardo Young's former coach is confirming he is going to transfer to Maryland.
ACC Schedule
Anyone know when the ACC football schedule comes out for the upcoming season? I know it was supposed to come out shortly after signing day but haven't heard anything new. Go Terps!

Martins Abele visited the MARYLAND campus this week....anybody heard of him? (Basketball player)
Terps Defeat Penn St. And Advance
With about two minutes remaining in the second half, Taylor Kemp's shot found the back of the net. Maryland preserved the shutout, defeating Penn St. 1 - 0 and advanced to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Men's Soccer Championship. This was not a very good offensive game for the Terps - but a win's a win. Next up will be Michigan. Congrats and Go Terps!
Chris Petersen??
I would love him as a head coach. He has taken Boise to a national level, while recruiting kids to a place in Idaho. Also he seems personable and a risky, smart head coach. I believe he would like the challenge of the ACC. What do you guys think?
One of my favorite coaches.. He loves to take risks, just look at the game vs. Oklahoma.
