6'8 forward Micah Thomas, former Mr. Basketball in Tennessee, is setting his focus on Louisville and Maryland, according to Adam Zagoria. On the Terrapins, Thomas said, 'They're recruiting me pretty hard but they came pretty late.' He plans to visit Maryland from April 8-10, just a few days before the late signing period begins on the 13th.
Williamson is the No. 9 cornerback in the class of 2017 and the No. 2 player in Ohio, per the 247Sports Composite. However, getting Williamson to College Park won't be an easy task, as he committed to Ohio State in April 2015. The cornerback also transferred to football powerhouse IMG Academy in Florida for his senior season. DJ Durkin sure does like Florida, so it'll be interesting to see if he can gain any traction here.
The Terps were supposed to open the season at home against Navy on Saturday, but the game has been suspended due to "inclement weather." The two teams will make up the game on April 19.

Five-star outside linebacker Dylan Moses is the consensus top player in the country in the 2017 recruiting class, at least right now. Maryland offered him a scholarship, he tweeted Wednesday, and Moses seems pretty excited about it. He'll be incredibly hard to land, as every power in the country wants him. But Maryland is at least in the picture now, and that can't be anything but a positive thing for DJ Durkin's program. Moses plays at the IMG Academy in Florida. Some evaluators view him as an athlete prospect, as Moses has also played running back.
Congrats to former Maryland players Vernon Davis and Darius Kilgo, who both won Super Bowl rings with the Denver Broncos Sunday.
