High school highlights:
How'd He Get to College Park?
Logan was a prolific two-way player in high school, playing linebacker and running back at the Dexter School. He was one of the top-rated recruits in Massachusetts, and committed to Maryland in February 2012 after visiting there and North Carolina State.
After redshirting his first season in College Park, Logan played in 12 games as a redshirt freshman, starting four. After being suspended for a violation of team rules in April 2014, Logan was reinstated in October and played in the last seven games of the season, but only made one tackle in each of the last five contests.
Career Highlight:
Racking up 15 tackles in Maryland's 2013 loss against Clemson.
Dream Season:
He puts last year's suspension behind him, seizes the starting inside linebacker spot and never lets it go. As one of the group's only returning uperclassmen, he becomes the head of not just the linebacker corps but the entire defense.
2015 Prospectus:
Logan will start at either inside or outside linebacker most likely, although the addition of Connecticut transfer Jefferson Ashiru assures there will be a competition. He's a talented player who has played well in limited Maryland snaps, and 2015 should be a good season for Logan.
