The Maryland Terrapins will head up north to take on the Syracuse Orange at 12:30 p.m. ET Saturday.
The Terps come into the game 2-1 after a last-second loss to West Virginia last week, while the Orange are 2-0 with wins over Villanova and Central Michigan. Syracuse leads the all-time series 19-14-2, including a 20-3 win last November in College Park.
Against the Mountaineers, quarterback C.J. Brown rushed for 100 yards for the eighth time in his career. He's now tied with Da’Rel Scott for the fourth-highest total games in program history. Additionally, his 161 rushing yards last week was one yard shy of a single-game record by a Terps QB, a record he already holds.
Stefon Diggs, the Terps season leader in receptions (17) and receiving yards (230), had his sixth career 100-yard receiving game last week, which is tied for fifth in program history. Will Likely is averaging 27.5 yards on punt returns, which is third in the nation and leads the Big Ten.
Maryland has scored 20 or more points in seven straight games, and the last time they failed to reach 20 points was the 2013 game against Syracuse.
