Getting ready to view the B1G

In preparation to ensure I can watch the upcoming football/basketball seasons, I learned I would have to upgrade to the highest cable package to get the B1G network (at least that is how it is in the SF area, thank you Comcast), I checked the cost to subscribe to BTN.com ($120/year or $15/month). One page indicated they only stream non-televised games, another page was more vague, so it is not clear that I could dump cable in favor of subscribing to btn.com to watch the games. There also seems to be an affiliation between CBS and BTN.

Does anyone have better details on how this works, what happens when a game is on ESPN (do they show it on BTN), etc.? Just curious what others are doing, especially if they want to say good bye to their cable subscription.
