The Terps received an unexpected boost from their power, scorching four home runs (Charlie White, Kevin Martir, two from LaMonte Wade).
Florida State beat North Carolina 7-1 in their first game of the tournament. Behind ACC Player of the Year D.J. Stewart, the Seminoles and their dynamic offense are looking for their first tournament title since 2010.
