Once a Terp Always a Terp?

Once a Terp, Always a Terp. If you've been on these boards long enough, you've heard it a hundred times. I personally do not prescribe to the notion, and have been overly interested to hear what others think in the light of recent defections.

As a general rule, when someone leaves MD for another school, I don't really think about them any more, much less consider them Terps. You know....Danny Miller.... whatever. Pe'shon... I really, really like Pe', but, whatever. Shaq. Now for some reason I just automatically consider him a Terp for life. Why? I don't know. That's what I find curious. What are the rules about it?

What about Faust? Here's a guy who evidently turned out to be a poison of sorts, actively trying to break apart the team. Yet, Nicky Baltimore was the lynchpin to Turgeon's introductory team. He kind of hooked us up there. For some reason... yea... he's always a Terp to me, despite all the junk.

Seth. Is it A-Ok that he looked out for #1, or did he selfishly screw over his team when then needed him? For me... no... I don't really consider him a Terp for Life. He's a Hokie.

For me it's a weird, nonsensical-type thing. You?
