Going into his fourth year of his long 8-year contract, Turge has opened some hearts and has torn some along the way, but like him or not, he's still got 4 years left, so we might as well take advantage of these next few years. Im neutral about Turgeon: I don't hate him because he is passionate about the game like hardly any other d1-a coach is, but I'm also not a lover, because his results haven't met my expectations thus far. We should never be on a 4-year Tourney drought, period.
My feelings are mixed with Edsall as well. I like him because he can recruit really well. Im not crazy about him though, because he has made some un-clutch decisions during games.
BUT DO NOT HATE ON EDSALL!
He may be the unluckiest person to ever walk onto Capital One Field. Right before his first year, a handful of players transferred or quit the team because of his rules in the Team House. He lost at least 10 players to injury including 5 quarterbacks that season. Coming off a great start to his third season, he suffered a "nail-bitting" 63-0 FSU loss. I mean yes, he tried to ice the B.C. Kicker, (which is proven to never work) and maybe called the timeout a second too late, but no one knew he was going to shank the 'practice' kick. My point is, Edsall never did much wrong. His luck has just not been there when we need it most.
Who's gone first?
