2014-2015 Starting 5

With the recent news of Nick Faust, Shaquille Cleare, and Roddy Peters' transfer plans, the 6, 7, and 8th man coming off the bench may fall in the place of some of the new 'stud' freshmen coming this fall. With Dez and Layman on the perimeter and potentially Freshman, Melo Trimble at Point Guard, we could be a real threat to the majority of our conference opponents this year.

CBS considers us a potential top 25 preseason ranking (article via CBSSPORTS.COM)

Maryland: "Maryland brings back everyone of significance and adds three high-level freshman: Romelo Trimble, Dion Wiley and Jared Nickens. The Terps should be strong in their first Big Ten season, considering their depth, talent and experience. Mark Turgeon returns a strong, seasoned backcourt in Seth Allen and Dez Wells -- along with a veteran frontcourt of Jake Layman, Evan Smotrycz and Charles Mitchell."
