What happened to Hawk Paulson?


After a pretty solid Freshman season, the redshirt-sophomore mysteriously left the team unannounced. Let try to answer the question on everyone's mind...Where is Hawk?

BEFORE MARYLAND - Graded at 89 by ESPN.com... Sixth man on an outstanding Montverde team, averaging around 10 points and five rebounds per game... Native of Iceland... Has participated internationally... MVP of Nordic Championship in 2008 and 2009... Iceland won Nordic title in 2007 and 2009... Iceland finished third this summer, but Palsson had 35 points, seven rebounds and five steals vs. Denmark... Had three other double-figure efforts... ESPN.com says Palsson is a versatile player with range out to 19 feet... High school coach was Kevin Sutton... Will be a "steady, effective and productive player in the ACC who will give a terrific effort every night," according to ESPN.com... Solid student with a 3.3 grade-point average.
