Sometime in the next few months at the Big Ten's new headquarters in Rosemont, Ill., the conference will open something called "The Big Ten Experience," a museum dedicated to a conference whose history dates back to January 1895, when representatives from Purdue, the University of Chicago, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Northwestern and Wisconsin met in Chicago.
Here's an idea of what it will look like -- and as you can see from the logos, new members Maryland and Rutgers will be included
Each member will have a three-minute video on its history and traditions, as well as interactive calls of major moments for each school. I'm guessing for Maryland, both 2002 (Terps beating Indiana for the men's basketball title) and 2006 (women beating Duke for the hoops crown behind "the shot") will be featured, along with a few other things.
What would you like to see represent the Terrapins?
