Maryland Minute 3.10.2014 -- Dez Wells says Terps 'just playing like we have nothing to lose'

Mitch Stringer-USA TODAY Sports

More from football and baseball, as well.

Terps seeded eighth, will face Florida State in ACC tournament
"We hear it," guard Dez Wells said. "We hear all the jokes and people trying to push us. We want to go out here and do what we know how to do. We all really know what our status is as far as the NCAA tournament, but we’re just playing like we have nothing to lose. Any team that you’re playing against that has that mentality and that type of attitude about them is a very dangerous team."

Terps spring football practice report: Day 4
The second open practice did not go quite so well as the first -- Malcolm Culmer and Matt Robinson received small injuries, and Randy Edsall is generally unhappy. In addition, stats can no longer be kept, so we'll be adjusting our spring reports.

Terps running back Wes Brown a changed person since arrest, suspension
Great stuff from Prewitt on Brown, who seems like a completely changed man after his suspension. A quote from the running back: "Reality hit me so quick when everything got taken away," he said. "All my life, this is what I worked for. When it was taken away, I was like, ‘What do I do?’ … I don’t regret anything, just because I became a better person. I became a better man."
