No, its not about PC...

....I finally got to go out to eat last night, and went to a place I have seen but never considered going to - Dmitri's in Catonsville - go through Old Ellicitt City and keep going into Baltimore county (which is right there). Ok, the place has lasted for 50 years as family owned and run., It is somewhere between a Greek and Italian place, but very, very Balmer. Entertained by the crowd - senior citizens talking to each other across tables about different HSs in Baltimore - mostly catholic since one of the diners at the smaller table was a priest. Now this is not some fancy-smancy place with the Urban raised ceiling or anything.....not as many "statues" as I expected but not garish or anything. Service impeccable and from HS/college kids. Food - fantastic. Generous portions but they have small plate prices as well. Will go back.

Prices - good, fair, except the crab cake better a whale-fucking-sized crabcake for $24,00.(which is less than I pay in DC for a floofy ass crabcake) but relatively speaking, versus the rest of the menu, it jumped out as the highest item; crab cake sandwiches were under $10.00 iirc

What is the Marylandiest restaurant where you live. Ledos cannot count for obvious reasons as it is UniversityofMarylandy as well as goddamn Marylandy in its own right.

Yep its about food, I have not seen some NA food porn in months, I have not heard of any new PC places.

Name your Marylandiest place. Dmitiri's knocked KR off its thrown in my book, but I would not "dine" there. I'd just eat it. I used to think of Fireside and Sir Walter Raleigh (more Fireside as they served Ledo's pizza). as very Marylandy. I mean when not thinking about when I am gonna have PC again,
