Maryland-West Virginia: Terps Continue to Lead 30-0

After a dominant first half, Maryland defense continued to stymie the West Virginia offense in the 3rd quarter, holding the Mountaineers to just 47 yards. But Maryland's offense was also unable to do much, putting up just____ yards. Maryland committed their first turnover of the game in the quarter, when a pitch from C.J. Brown wasn't successfully pulled in by Brandon Ross and West Virginia recovered. On the Mountaineers ensuing play, Childress completed a pass to Sims who was stripped and fumbled and Maryland quickly recovered the loose ball. It was West Virginia's fourth turnover of the day and summed up the kind of game WVU has been having today.

The rain here in Baltimore has really picked up and might be factoring into play as game continues. The field at M&T Bank Stadium is similar to what the Terps have at Byrd, so it should be holding up well but might be a little slick.

Maryland, which has put up over 500 yards of offense in their first three games, will likely see that streak snapped today as the Terps have less than 250 total yards heading into the fourth quarter.

We'll have a full recap when things wrap up here in Baltimore.
