The long wait is over - Maryland football is back. Things officially get under way today with Media Day, which we'll be covering throughout the day. Our own Pete Volk will be there in person, providing us with updates throughout the day both here and on the site's official twitter account, @testudotimes, so be sure to check both out throughout the day.
2013 is significantly important for Maryland football, as this will be the team's last season as a member of the ACC and is also Edsall's third season at the helm of the program. Most fans are expecting results this year after winning a combined six games over the last two seasons. There is certainly enough talent on this team to be successful, but some questions still remain, specifically with the offensive line (and lack of o-line depth) and a defensive unit that lost some significant pieces from last season. We'll have more on the upcoming season leading up to Maryland's first game against Florida International on August 31st, a little less than four weeks from today.
As I said previously, Pete will be providing updates from Media Day throughout the day and head coach Randy Edsall will be holding a press conference at 11:00, which you can watch below. Check back throughout the day.
