Hey all, Pete here. You might recognize me from up there. Whatever.
I just received a copy of NCAA 14, and am going to be playing through Maryland's season with it. I'm going to be making a series of four posts - one every three games - talking about what's going on and how the Terps are doing. I figured the FanPost section was most appropriate for this.
Some notes - I redshirted Wes Brown and Marcus Leak, and edited down Tony Perry something fierce (he was listed as Maryland's fourth corner). I started out on All-American difficulty for these three games (I hadn't played the series in a while), but am now bumping it up to Heisman.
In week one, Maryland beat Florida International 28-10. The Terps scored first with a one-yard run by C.J. Brown, and the Golden Panthers fired back with two quick scores to make it 10-7. Brown then threw two 14-yard touchdown passes to Stefon Diggs, and Brandon Ross sealed the deal with a one-yard touchdown run in the fourth.
In week two, the Terps dominated Old Dominion. C.J. Brown had four total touchdowns (two running, two passes to Diggs), and Brandon Ross and Albert Reid each scored touchdowns of their own in the 45-14 win.
In week three, Maryland destroyed UConn, as Brandon Ross and C.J. Brown each scored three touchdowns. Brown's were all passing this time - two to Deon Long, and one to Stefon Diggs in the 51-23 victory.
A stats update:
C.J. Brown - 65/86 for 894 yards (ninth in the nation), seven touchdowns, four interceptions. 38 rushes for 200 yards and three touchdowns.
