Now that Jared Nickens is on board for the Terps' 2014 basketball class - joining Romelo Trimble and Dion Wiley - the next obvious question is: Who's next?
Most everyone, myself included, believes Turge & Co. will go for a big, and there are plenty of options with varying degrees of interest. Seven-footers Trayvon Reed and Paschal Chukwu are attractive options. There are also several power forward-type possibilities like Goodluck Okonoboh, Chinanu Onuaku, Obi Enechionyia, and Martin Geben to name a few.
The chances of getting five-star Okonoboh is going to be tough, but not impossible. The others seem like more realistic options.
I see Turge leaning more toward a power forward for this reason: There are plenty of teams who have won a national championship without a seven-footer; but I've been wrong before. What do you think? Who do you think (not who do you hope) will claim the final scholarship in the 2014 class?
