Jake Nazar did an excellent job running down the top 2014 football prospects in the DMV area, in his recently-completed three-part series. But that prompted a question.
What are the critical pieces of the puzzle for the 2014 football recruiting class? I'm looking for positions that you feel must be filled with high-quality recruits to maintain, or enhance, the current momentum; and the best individuals to fill those positions.
For instance, with Brown, Ross, Reid and Riddle, can we afford to wait until 2015 to pick up a quality RB? Are we in good shape at LB through the 2015 season? Most everyone seems to think a top-flight QB is a necessity, but would Henderson, Ulmer or Crest be the best choice, and why?
Finally, kudos to Jake for the time and effort he put into his series. Hopefully, this will provide a forum to continue - and expand - that discussion.
