Maryland Lax upcoming games.

Our #2 ranked (man, felt weird typing #2, got used to #1) Maryland Terrapin's Men's Lacrosse team faces a crucial juncture of their season this coming weekend as they approach the NCAA Tournament. They have another crucial tournament to step up for though....the ACC Tournament. Maryland was last ACC Tournament Champion in 2011 which helped them get into the NCAA Tournament, where they made a run as an unseeded squad to the National Championship Game. This time the Terps are the #1 seed in the ACC Tournament. They will face off against the unranked #4 seed Virginia Cavaliers, Friday on the grounds of the University of North Carolina and Keenan Stadium. Face off is set for 5 PM on ESPNU. Terps win, they will play the winner of North Carolina/Duke (face off 7:30 for those interested) on Sunday at 1 PM on ESPNU.

This is a crucial game as the Terps sit #3 in RPI. If the Terps win the ACC Tournament and beat Colgate and Peter Baum, the Terps likely will jump to #1 and be the #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. They also, get an ACC Regular Season and Tournament Championship in their last year. Tune in, 5 PM, ESPNU, Go Terps!
