If there is one word to describe this year's team -- its enigma. (Or maybe frustrating. Or perhaps unpredictable. Whatever, you get the point.) The thing is this team has underperformed when they were expected to excel and over achieved at the most unlikely moments.
Given the team's recent play, though, there is a sense among the fan base that the team has turned the proverbial corner or perhaps we are witnessing a "new dawn". Yet, it is impossible to ignore the fact that this team has not won a meaningful game on the road. Not one. (You want me to give you Northwestern, fine, but that was hardly a big game.) So, the question, remains, can these terps win on the road? If so, even against a team like Alabama that is good but not great, you'd have to say that they have significantly grown up. If not, which i fear, then they have not come nearly as far as some have given them credit for.
So, now is the time to weigh in. Lock in your vote before the game on Tuesday.
