After UVA rushed the court last night:
"Look, do you know how close you are to -- just put yourself in the position of one of our players or coaches," Krzyzewski said, according to the Raleigh News & Observer. "I'm not saying any fan did this, but the potential is there all the time for a fan to just go up to you and say, 'Coach you're a [expletive],' or push you or hit you. And what do you do? What if you did something? That would be the story. We deserve that type of protection."
So nobody did anything bad to him or his team, but he's just whining about it because it could have happened?
Funny how every time they lose now he has some holier-than-thou, our-kids-are-better-than-yours bone to pick with the opposing fans. I know he's a HOF coach with a record that speaks for itself, but just take your loss like a man, tip your cap, move on, and go recruit some more of those rich white kids you love so much. As K gets older, he's not hiding his pompous, elitist nature nearly as well as he used to. He likes to project himself as though he wrote the book on morals and sportsmanship, but then he's always got some non-basketball, tangential BS to whine and cry about every time he loses to a state school. Boo-hoo-hoo, the unruly kids at Maryland and Virginia are going to hurt us! Keep the common folks away! Sounds like sour grapes to me.
