Talk Terps and Clemson right here.
Your preview is here. Game will tip at high noon on ESPN2, with Carter Blackburn and Jay Williams on the call. Jay gets a lot of hate for obvious and well-deserved reasons, but he's not the worst color analyst in the world.
Random, Baseless Prediction: A walk-on gets first-half playing time.
Prediction: There's a 99% chance this game is going to be hideously ugly, a scrum of scrums that plays into Clemson's hands and is a battle for every single possession. If that's the case, I still think Maryland wins but I'm not sold on it, and if they do it'll be close.
But then there's always the option that Maryland shows up focused and intense, knowing they need to win to rebound from BC, they have minimal NCAA Tournament hopes, and Lefty is in the building. And if that's the case, there's enough talent to transcend Clemson's defense and slow-it-down tactics and win Virginia Tech or Wake Forest-style. It'd be a true head-scratcher, but that's this team for you.
