I saw Logan's quote about how the nonconference schedule didn't prepare the team, he thought, for the regular season conference schedule. Just wondering: does Turge handle the whole nonconference scheduling or does the A.D. have the final say?
Also, I know how it is with nonconference payouts in football, but do the nonconference foes get any kind of payout for coming to us in basketball?
In a perfect world our nonconference schedule would have Kentucky, Georgetown, Arizona, etc., every year, but that's not the way it is. There's always good and bad when it comes to a "soft" nonconference schedule. To be honest, I think the nonconference games this year were good because of our young team. In a few years, I see it being a lot more difficult.
