247sports prediction slipped past our board? Malik Ellison

I was surprised to find that a prediction for Malik Ellison (Pete has him on our board - 6'5" "unrated" PG out of NJ) going to MD was made by Brian Finn (247sports, future150.com site) on 12/3, and no one picked up on it, except one comment from Colorblind79 after "the poster formerly known as FH" mentioned Malik's sister Aja Ellison having some UMD connection (mom went here). With Aja's commit, will it help or hurt?

In light of all our "all combo guards, no real PG" talk, this is interesting. Might it be the staff again finding an underrated player, being that all mid-majors (and PSU) from PA (Lasalle, St. Joe's, Temple) are currently recruiting Malik? I wonder if his stock will take off next AAU season like some other big PG we now know and love.

Well, I sure wouldn't mind having some "Never Nervous Pervis" pedigree on board. I'll bet on Malik growing more before all is said and done....

Here's the Ellison profile:
