Maddie Meyer

The Terps look to win their first in-season tournament since 2006 as they take on Providence in the Paradise Jam championship game.

Maryland is set to take on Providence in the finals of the Paradise Jam in St. Thomas Monday evening at 10:00 PM. The Terps will be facing one of their toughest opponents of the season when they take on the Friars, who are a very experienced team with some very talented players.

So how did each team get here? Maryland defeated Marist Friday evening, 68-43, and Northern Iowa Sunday night, 80-66. Providence beat Vanderbilt, 67-60 on Friday and La Salle, 71-63 Sunday night. So what will happen tonight? It WILL LIKELY be a close game, but Providence is a very experienced team, lead by a senior guard who can do a little bit of everything, which is always a plus.

Time for some predictions. Instead of over/under, we'll do a little game of "Which will be higher."

# of Layman 3-pointers or Dez Wells rebounds?

# of Mitchell rebounds or Damonte Dodd minutes?

# of Roddy Peters Assists or Smotrycz 3-pointers?

# of Nick Faust points or Shaq Cleare minutes?

And finally, who finishes with more points tonight, Terps or Friars?
