High School Highlights:
None that we could find.
How'd He Get to College Park?
Auslander transferred from Greensboro College, where he averaged 1.4 points and 1.0 rebounds per game at the Division III level. He sat out the 2010-11 season due to transfer rules, but has been a repeated contributor for the Terps as a part of the walk-on group. This year, Auslander is a scholarship player, and don't be surprised if you see him getting some minutes early on in the year.
Career Highlight:
Hitting a three-pointer against Alabama in the Puerto Rico classic for his first career score with Maryland.
Dream Season:
Auslander has reportedly been a very strong presence for Maryland in practice, and finding a few minutes per game come ACC play would certainly be a dream for him.
2013 Prospectus:
Without Alex Len and James Padgett, Maryland's frontcourt rotation is going to look a little different this year. Evan Smotrycz, Damonte Dodd and possibly Jonathan Graham are here to try and fill in those minutes, but Auslander could be another guy the Terrapins turn to. He's the team's only senior, and could spell some of Maryland's other bigs with some minutes down the stretch.
Up Next:
Our next player was Maryland's only from DC Assault on the roster last year.
