So let's give this a shot. If you need a reminder of the guidelines, they're here. In short:

You can discuss almost anything, whether you have a quick question about recruiting, saw an interesting article you think people may want to know about, or want to go off-topic and talk Funyuns or soccer or Danny O'Brien. And if there's any breaking news, this is the place to discuss it right away. The moderation rules still apply, but in line with the spirit of the thread, can be a bit relaxed with some discretion. (If there is a specific SBN blog for whatever you're discussing - say, the Ravens - I do ask that you head over there, but it's not a hard-and-fast rule per se.)

First order of business: we really need to come up with a name for this thing. My personal favorite was The Burning Couch, but that has strong WVU overtones. Other suggestions welcome. (But not from you, W2BB.)

Oh, and once this gets 10 rec's, it'll wind up in the rec'd category and be essentially stickied for 7-10 days. That'll save us the hassle of making a lot of open threads. And once we get the hang of it, I'll stop making these and leave it up to the community side of it.
