Hope everyone had a great Labor Day. While this past weekend signifies the unofficial end of summer, it also means the start of football and soon, basketball. I'll have more from the W&M game tonight and then we'll have our normal game day week features in the coming days leading up to the Temple game on Saturday. Onto the clippings...

Justus Pickett earns starting RB nod - Terrapins Insider - The Washington Post

Justus Pickett will get the starting nod on Saturday against Temple. Smart move, in my opinion. The offense looked and functioned much better with Pickett in the backfield against W&M.

HELLER: Terps still seem to be going nowhere fast - Washington Times

Impressive debut for Danny O'Brien at Wisconsin -
Danny O'Brien went 19-for-23 for 219 yards and two touchdowns as Maryland....err, Wisconsin beat Northern Iowa. *sigh*
