Terps women's soccer upset 7th (or 3rd depending on the poll) ranked UVA at Ludwig tonight chopping down the Cavs 3-1. After a cautious first half that saw Virginia go in leading 1-0, the Terps were more aggressive in the second half with both teams working some good chances. The Terps got the equalizer about 72 minutes in with a one timer (may have been an own goal) by Olivia Wagner. The Terps exploded for 2 more goals in the next 15 minutes sending the Cavs home a bit SHELL shocked. Coach Morgan made great use of his rotation in the second half. The win leaves the Terps alone at the top of the ACC standings and gives them a 2-0-1 mark against a murderous section of the schedule with road games against the numbers 4, 15 and a home game against #7. Let's hope the roll continues at # 16 Va Tech on Sunday.
