Why do we keep playing WVU?
1) If Maryland is looking for a real rivalry, this isn't it. I'd rather focus on building an in-conference rivalry with Pitt. Navy would be a great way to kick off every season but they refuse to schedule us. Maybe Rutgers would be a better OOC annual game?
2) We haven't beat WVU in 6 years. We're on the books through 2017. Why?
3) Their fans are the worst, I won't even go to Morgantown for a game. This is not a relationship I want to be part of.
4) UMD should be trying to build associations with better schools. Penn State perhaps?
What's the value in keeping this series? Revenue? Strength of Schedule?
