Na'Ty Rodgers is down to a final five: Maryland, South Carolina, Arkansas, Washington and Oklahoma.
Apparently he's planning on taking official visits to 'em all this fall, so I wouldn't expect a decision from him quickly. He's already had unofficial visits to Maryland, South Carolina and Washington.
He would be a fantastic pick-up for the Terps. We could definitely use some more help at the O-line. According to 247, South Carolina is his favorite, but hopefully he'll reconsider and maybe keep the "stay at home" movement going for the Terps.
There's an article about it from the Washington Post about it if you're interested. Interesting quote from it:
Over time, "schools really show their true colors," said Rodgers, who hopes to major in architectural engineering or business management. "It’s easy to recruit a kid for a week and a half or send him a letter every two weeks, but if they stay on your for your entire high school career that shows you something right there."
If Brattan has been keeping in touch with him for a while, maybe the Terps have a decent shot.
