I thought I'd post some pictures of the practice for those who couldn't go. There isn't much below in the way of action - I'm sure that the athletic department folks will put something better on youtube than what I've got. But this at least gives folks an idea of what happened there.
I'll provide these with minimal commentary - if you have any questions about 'em, just ask:

It was nice to see some fans show up, and pretty cool to be able to walk on the field. The turf is interesting. I don't have any prior experience walking on artificial turf, so I don't really know how it compares. It feels similar to but not quite the same as walking on a dirt/grass field.
One one play, one of the players dragged his feet a bit and you could see the black infill shooting up (almost as if he'd dragged his toe through water). Hopefully it'll all be good, and I'm going to assume they're going to "clean it up" before every game so that it looks nice and tidy for the kickoff.
