IMPORTANT UPDATE 3:30PM 8/11:
If you have made an entry in this competition or plan to, please follow this link. There has been a change to the competition and there are now ten targets instead of five. I apologize for any confusion, hopefully the new fanpost will sufficiently explain the change.
In light of all the recent hype around Rysheed Jordan possibly committing soon and Roddy Peters' visit to CP next week, i believe it is time for Testudo Times' 2013 basketball recruiting competition.
Unlike in past contests such as 2012 basketball and 2013 football, 2013 basketball does not have a ton of legitimate targets. Plenty of players have seen interest, but few have offers and even fewer have committable offers. As a result, this competition has only half as many targets (5) as the previous ones, which have all had ten.
Most of you probably know the drill by now, but if you're new to these competitions, its very simple. Take a look at the list of Maryland targets below, do as much or as little research as you'd like, and then post a comment on here predicting where each target will commit to.
The deadline for entries is 11:59PM August 13th, which is monday night. Hopefully that will allow everyone time to make their entries while also avoiding one of these targets committing before the deadline is up. As with past competitions, if one of the targets announces his decision before the deadline is up, that player will not count towards the competitions final scores, even if you correctly guessed their school before they made the announcement.
2013 Targets:
Good luck to all
Notes:
I combined the Harrison Twins into one target since we all know that they will be committing to the same school. In my mind it would be pretty pointless to list them as two different targets for this competition since they are a package deal.
Let me know if you have any questions about the competition. Feel free to comment on the football competition here too if you'd like. I'll likely post an update with those scores after the next commit or two. The last one i posted came after Kingsley Opara's decision, so there hasn't been an update with Kendall Fuller's decision in it yet.
