The deadline is passed, 25 entries are in, we already have one committment (made just after the deadline), and the first ever Testudo Times Football Recruiting Competition is underway.
This fanpost contains the following:
1. Two images displaying the results of everybody's entries in a spreadsheet. The two pictures are all part of the same spreadsheet, but because of size and clarity issues, i decided to break it up into parts since all 25 entries were not coming out very clear when screenshotted into one image.
2. A third picture that shows the percentages of each school picked for each player. For example, 24 out of 25 participants picked Michael Parker to Maryland. The other participant guessed Virginia. Thus, as you'll see in the image, it shows Maryland 96% and Virginia 4%. These numbers obviously don't really mean anything, i just threw them in there for a bit of extra analysis for anybody that is interested.
3. The current scores after Marcus Newby's committment to Nebraska this morning.

Scores after Marcus Newby's disappointing committment to Nebraska:
The following participants correctly guessed Newby to Nebraska. They all currently sit at 1/1. Everybody else starts in an early hole at 0/1. Chad Ahalt, bking38, MemphisRaines, Proposition Joe Smith, Dirty_Terps, Maryland1206, terpsfinish, MrTerpNC, terpfan92, FearTheTurtle. Congrats to those 10 on your early leads.Notes:
If i made any errors entering picks into the spreadsheet, please let me know. I apologize for and will gladly correct any mistakes.
If you wish, you can click the pictures to make them bigger and then right click, "save picture as" in order to save them on your computer for later viewing. That way, you don't have to go digging up this fanpost months from now when you're interested in everybody's picks.
I am planning on doing a sequel to last year's basketball recruiting competition. Most likely that will come out in August. We have 25 participants for this competition, i am hoping to have even more than that for the basketball one.
Please feel free to hit me up with any questions/comments/concerns/suggestions on how to make these competitions better.
Thanks for the entries and good luck to all.
