The just-completed major league baseball draft saw four Terp players selected. Of no surprise was that Alfredo Rodriguez was the first Terp chosen. This past season Rodriguez (who should have been second-team ACC but that's another matter) led the team in RBIs and was tied with Jordan Hagel for stolen bases.

The other Terps drafted were Charlie Haslup, Jimmy Reed, and Michael Boyden: all pitchers. Conspicuous by his absence is Brett Harman, our team's ace this past season. and second team all-ACC.
