Pre-Snap Read is proceeding with its annual lead up to the college football season by counting down all the division 1 teams. Post went up today placing Maryland at #86 (last year was #69). It's a very generous ranking considering all what happened last season and off-season. Duke and BC are the only ACC teams below us. I think he sets our ceiling too high when he says dream season would be 8-4. (No way this is an 8-4 team barring some hero play from Caleb Rowe). However they hit the nail on the head when he says getting to 5 wins would go a long way in this program's success.
