You're always good for a few decommitments every year, and that's especially the case when you expand as quickly as Maryland just did. Williams was a big kid with some promise, but he was hardly mission-critical - especially with the Rodgerses still out there and (theoretically) still attainable. With any luck, this won't prove to be as contagious as the commitment bug. Sometimes when you get on a roll like this kids pull the trigger too quickly, which may've happened here. As long as Derwin Gray and Yannick Ngakoue are confident in their choices, though, I'm not expecting too many problems.
