PR Training for Edsall and a CJ Brown video blog

Apparently Edsall - and some other "Maryland athletic officials" - are working with a PR company. The Sun also reported that players and coordinators will be made more accessible than they were last season.

Everyone (even most Edsall supporters or the "let's give him a bit more time" crew) knows Edsall needs to be a bit smoother speaking with the media. I'm glad to see that management is giving him some help in this regard. It'll also be nice to hear from some of the players (and it would be nice if they've had some media training too).

I've seen some video clips of several of the assistant coaches speaking, and while none of 'em are as slick as a politician, they're not bad. I'm looking forward to hearing them - and hopefully an improved Edsall - this upcoming season.

And speaking of public speaking, CJ Brown apparently has a video blog. I haven't seen the first one, but this is #2:

FYI, there are a lot of 1-2 minute clips, including short interviews with Edsall, coordinators, other coaches, players, etc. on the MDFootballVideo channel on YouTube.

Go Terps!
