With the decision to prep for a year at Massanutten, ESPN has gone ahead and reclassified Damonte Dodd as a 2013 commit. More interestingly, he is now listed as a 4 star recruit. I understand he has performed well around the circuit and has impressed some of the scouts. But to go from relative obscurity to a 4 star recruit seems a bit of a leap. Was he really that overlooked, or are scouts overreacting to some good, albeit, limited showings?
Just curious if anyone has seen him in person against the upgraded competition, and if his performance warrants a 4 star rating.
