Andrew Harrison on his impromptu visit to Maryland

Talk about keeping his cards close to his vest. "It was fine. "Shaq looked good." "Turgeon's really honest with us about everything." Not that they owe us information in media interviews, of course. But again, compared to the comparatively flowery prose that gets spewed about Kentucky, I find it tough to get excited. And then of course there's the chance that this will be their only visit to Maryland, given that they were planning on taking one to each in the summer. It makes sense to do so when you're in the area already, but it doesn't say much about your interest if the only time you can bothered to get out there is ... when you're there already. (And only for a few hours, at that.) If they make another trip, that'd be a quite a statement. But then this recruitment is a constant battle to remind myself at the forces at work here. Like most big recruiting battles, it's not going to come down just to the whims of two kids. There are going to be dozens of other factors, including family and brand. But that battle is getting more difficult for me every day. It was hugely awesome that their grandparents were with them, though. Anyway, this is supposed to be a positive post, even if it doesn't read that way for some reason. The twins visited Maryland! Yay!
