Alex Len and the 2013 NBA Draft

This morning I was messing around on NBADraft.net, which had a mock draft up for 2013, in addition to the upcoming draft. The 2013 mock draft had Alex Len going at 8th overall. Call me naive, but I just don't see how after the way he struggled so mightily adapting to the American game during his freshman year, how he could go to being a lottery pick as a sophomore.

He looked very good in his first few games against cupcakes, but once we got into ACC play, he looked completely overmatched. He dropped easy passes and got out-worked in the post both offensively and defensively. Do you guys really think that with just one more year of development and one year playing at the ACC level, he'd make the jump into the lottery? It seems a bit far-fetched to me. Maybe after his junior year, but I don't see it after this upcoming season.
