My idea, which I think would be awesome, would be have a Maryland flag field, but part of me thinks they'll end up with just a normal green field. If that's the case, I hope people realize that this new field, regardless of color, is a major upgrade for Byrd. Regardless, Plank said they're working to have the coolest field, literally & figuratively. I can say, being on the field at M&T Bank before every Ravens game and at halftime, that synthetic field is HOT during the warmer months, so that aspect of this new playing surface is a big deal, IMO.
